This has allowed Dr. Oesterheld to do many unfunded clinical trials in leukemia and solid tumors. His passion is taking care of children with Neuroblastoma and solid tumors and offering novel agents to children with relapsed cancer.

Since becoming Medical Director of the program at Levine Children’s Hospital in 2015, the program has expanded to include translational labs, a renovated BMT space, and an MIBG room which will be completed at the end of 2018. The family centered approach at Levine Children’s Hospital makes families and the patients feel welcome from the minute they arrive until they leave. Dr. Oesterheld is currently the Study chair on multiple national clinical trials through collaborations with other institutions and national consortiums (TACL, Sunshine Project, and many others) [/x_tab][x_tab active=”true”]
